One of the most highly coveted areas of the peninsula, Redwood Shores offers housing in a park-like setting, where wonderful bay views commingle with meandering water ways. It is a newer city, developing after Marine World left for Vallejo, so it features some of the newest homes on the peninsula. Many of the homes feature water views. One of the most notable features is the Oracle Towers where one can find Team USA’s yacht, winner of The America’s Cup, on display. This appealing community also has a wonderful shopping center with notable restaurants. The new library is a local favorite, with fantastic exhibits and a nice open deck facing scenic sloughs. The Bay Levee Trails winds it's way to Redwood Shores; a favorite place to jog or ride bikes, or just hang out and meet friends.
